So What’s the Difference?
So what makes the 3T MRI at Teton Radiology different from other MRI’s? At Teton Radiology 3T MRI (formally Rocky Mountain MRI) we are pleased to offer you and your patients the very best in Magnetic resonance Imaging (MRI), with sharper image quality then Open MRI or 1.5T scanners which can lead to more accurate diagnosis. We provide this technology in a friendly, and comfortable, outpatient setting.
Exceptional Image Quality
Our 3T MRI, the most advanced clinical MRI system available in the World today and the only 3T in eastern Idaho, produces some of the highest resolution images in the industry. This allows our radiologists to identify potential problems and provide you with more information for a more accurate diagnosis. These higher quality images are possible through a unique patented SENSETM technology that enhances resolution without additional scanning time.
Our 3T MRI (Phillips 3.0 Tesla Achevia Ultra-High-Field Scanner) allows us to scan with high resolution techniques including Smaller Field of View, Increased Image Matrix, and Thinner Slice Thickness. This is possible due to the dramatic increase in Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) vs. 1.5 MRI or Open MRI scanners. Our system also utilizes the strongest gradients available today. Additionally, all of our technologists are certified by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) in multiple disciplines, including MRI, and have a great deal of experience with the 3T.
Patient Comfort
Our 3T MRI offers one of the fastest scan times of any scanner on the market. This can be very beneficial when working with claustrophobic patients, pediatric patients, or patients in extreme discomfort. With the higher scanning speeds, most scans last only 15 to 40 minutes. Its compact design helps to set patients at ease while our friendly and qualified technologists focus on making our patients as comfortable as possible throughout the scan.
Service
It is our mission to provide the highest level of service to you and your patients. This starts with prompt scheduling. We do all we can to make sure the patient is comfortable during the exam at the completion of which we work to quickly provide an accurate report, usually within 24 hours. Our viewing services can allow for the review of studies electronically within your office after completion of the scan. We also provide a copy of the exam on CD with an eFilm Lite viewer included. Hard copy film is available for any exam upon request. We are dedicated to constantly improving our patient experience and service to referring physicians & staffs through our Service Design initiative.
No Additional Cost
One of the beauties of 3T is that all of these benefits are available to the patient at no additional cost. Our 3T MRI, with much higher image quality, is the same cost as a traditional MRI scan.
